Podcasts

I’ve been presenting and producing podcasts since 2018. If you’re interested in talking to me about making a podcast for you, or collaborating on one, please have a listen below to the kind of work I’ve been making. Sifa Stories and On My Last Eggs are completely different, hopefully showcasing my wide range of styles and skills.

The first Podcast I made was for the charity Sifa Fireside. They do amazing work at their drop in centre in Birmingham, and I wanted to help. We see people living with homelessness every day in our cities, but we so seldom hear their voices, and that’s how Sifa Stories – Giving a Voice to the Homeless – began. I’m very proud of this podcast and humbled by people who took the time, and were open enough, to tell their deeply moving Stories.

Following on from the work I was doing with Sifa Fireside, I produced the Changing Futures podcast. This is aimed at helping Birmingham’s most vulnerable people live more fulfilled lives. In this series we explore the importance of lived experience when working with people in the areas of homelessness, substance misuse, mental health and reoffending. Once again these are powerful stories that deserve to be heard.

I came up with the idea for this menopause podcast when I realised I was literally On My Last Eggs, in the wild throws of perimenopause like millions of other women around the world. This podcast lifts the lid on that whole messy, confusing journey with the help of experts and conversations with menopausal celebrities, and with plenty of lols and wtf’s!
